| Iowa Soccer offers a range of courses suitable for the novice through experienced coach. Coaching education is one of the single most important factors in retaining players. With the proper tools, coaches can help make training sessions and matches fun for the kids. And when kids have fun, they stay with the sport. And when they have fun, you have fun...and you keep coaching too! |

Through our philosophy, programs, coach training and rules, Iowa Soccer strives to help cultivate the best possible playing environment for the player. Our belief is this not only leads to improved soccer, but more importantly to player and coach retention.
From the U06 through the U12 age groups, Iowa Soccer teams play "small-sided" soccer. While soccer is ultimately a game of 11 versus 11, we believe playing 3v3 up to 8v8 is the best way to facilitate a more engaging and fun experience that better develops youth players, and their love of the game.
