Westside High School Track, 8701 Pacific St., Omaha, NE 68114
Officials who wish to work games for the USL2 Des Moines Menace, NPSL Sioux Falls Thunder, and the WPSL Omaha Elite are required to pass the physical fitness test. Those individuals who are planning on upgrading to the next higher level or those at state level who need to meet the annual maintenance requirements should plan on taking the fitness test.
The Physical Fitness test covered below will be run and must be passed for Grade 5 and above referees, and the results for Grade 6 and below will be adjusted as required. There will be two tests to run:
Test 1 is the Repeated Sprint Ability (RSA) and will measure the referee’s ability to perform repeated sprints over 40m.
Test 2 is the Interval Test and evaluates the referee’s capacity to perform a series of high speed runs over 75m interspersed with 25m walking intervals.
Sprint Ability Test – 6 trials with a maximum 6.00 seconds per trial.
Interval Test – maximum 17 seconds per 75m run and 22 seconds per 25m walk.
If you do not pass the fitness test, you will not be assigned to any of these games nor can you be assigned to any other higher-level games (D-3, A-League, W-3).
