The NSCAA recently released its All-Region Teams.  Iowa ODP players Austin Bergstrom of Cedar Rapids and Samuel Steenhoek of Norwalk landed on the High School Boys All-Region V team.  

 

According to the NSCAA, "To be eligible for All-Region consideration, players first must be selected All-State in their respective state through a recognized coaches' selection program. Each state is awarded a specific number of slots on the All-America team based on the number of high school coaches there are in the state and how many of them are current NSCAA members."  NSCAA.org

 

 

UPDATE, JANUARY 23:  The 2012 High School Boys All-America Team has been announced and Austin was among the midfielders selected for this honor.  Congratulations!
