DESCRIPTION:The Iowa Fall Classic hosted by Spring Creek FC has been in existence for over 8 years and is recognized as an outstanding youth fall event in the region. \nThe event welcomes more than 100 teams. This event is for teams of all levels to compete. Clubs can be confident that all their teams will find the appropriate competition. \n\nU9-U19 Boys & Girls\nOctober 5-6\, 2024\n\nThe Iowa Fall Classic will be hosted at Spring Creek Sports Complex\, Altoona\,Iowa. Spring Creek Sports Complex\, located in Altoona\, Iowa\, has 14 full-sized grass fields and 1 full-sized turf field with bleachers. Other amenities include a concession stand with covered seating area\, indoor bathrooms\, playground\, and walking trails. \nAll matches are played on grass fields. \nEvent Highlights: \n\nAll level teams are welcome to apply\nFun\, competitive event for all levels of teams from a single club are welcome to participate.\nMultiple divisions in an age group/gender to promote competitive balance.\nUSSF certified referees.\nInteractive onsite player experiences.\nAwards for champions and finalists in each age group U11-U19.\nGotSport Scheduler used to avoid coaching conflicts.

DESCRIPTION:Dates: August 30 – September 1\, 2024 @ TBK/Bettendorf(No Holiday Monday Games)Age Groups: Boys & Girls U9-U19 \nEntry Fees: 7v7 = $635\, 9v9 = $735\, 11v11 = $835  \nFormat: 3 Game Guarantee\, Championship FormatRegistration Deadline: August 2ndEarly Registration Discount Deadline: July 1st\n \nThis event will once again host our maximum capacity of 150 teams from multiple states.  Last year we welcomed over 70 teams from out of state.  In total 30+ clubs and 6 states were represented. The event will offer Gold\, Silver\, and Bronze level competition at most age groups.  Last year registration was forced to close early due to high demand.  This USYS sanctioned event will be run using the GotSport registration and scheduling software. \nAll teams are guaranteed 3 group stage games. 1st and 2nd place teams will advance to a championship final in U15 and younger age groups.  Given the early season nature of the event\, and with player’s safety and development in mind\, U16-U19 teams will play in a 3 game only format.

DESCRIPTION:The minimum age requirement to become a registered referee with U.S. Soccer is 13. \nTraining for the referee course is specific to: \n\nyouth and adult competitions\nsmall-sided 7v7\, 9v9\nfull-sided 11v11\noutdoor matches\n\n\nSIGNUP INSTRUCTIONS \nCreate a Learning Center Profile \nAll referees must have a Learning Center Profile. Your account Profile will contain your unique e-Mail address\, password\, mailing address\, phone number\, etc. To create a Profile\, go to the US Soccer Learning Center and click on ‘Sign Up’. Follow the instructions provided in Learning Center Signup. \nAfter you’ve created your Profile\, click on ‘Courses’. Then\, click on ‘Go to Course List’ to find the location of this course\, and click “Course Details.” \nUndergo a Background Check \nIf you are age 18 or older\, you must next initiate a National Center for Safety Initiatives (NCSI) Background Check. You cannot register for this or any other course until you have completed a background check. Follow the instructions described in Initiating a Background Screen to initiate the process from your Profile. The cost is $30 and is good for 2 years. You pay online with a credit card. Determinations take between 7-10 days. \nNOTE: Even if you are a coach who has had a background check recently through the Iowa Soccer Association (ISA) by Reference Services\, Inc. (RSI)\, you must still have the NCSI Background Check performed. It is the only one that will be accepted. \nRegister for this Grassroots In-Person Course \nAfter you have completed your NCSI Background Check or if you are under 18\, click on ‘Proceed to Registration’. Fill in the required fields and then ‘Proceed to Payment’ to provide your credit card information. Once your $60 payment is processed\, you’ll enter the course Classroom. Click on the ‘Assignments’ tab to open. The course has 4 assignments: \n\nOnline Grassroots Referee Course(4 hour module – go at your own pace)\nSafeSport Training(90 minute module required for ages 18 and older)\nIntroduction to Safe and Healthy Playing Environments(30 minute presentation)\nGrassroots Referee Certification Quiz (25 questions)\n\nClick on the Online Grassroots Referee Course assignment to begin. As you complete each assignment\, click on ‘Save and Confirm’. \nSubsequent Logins to the Learning Center \nYou do not have to complete all the assignments in one sitting. You can go at your own pace\, e.g.\, working 20 or 30 minutes at a time\, closing the assignment\, and then logging-out of the Learning Center. Later\, when you want to resume: \n\nLog in to the Learning Center\n• Click on ‘Courses’ in the upper left of the screen\n• Next\, click on the ‘My Courses’ tab\n• Find this course and click on ‘Go to Classroom’ on the right\nClick on the ‘Assignments’ tab\n• Open the assignment that you want to resume and pick up where you left off\n\nIMPORTANT: The assignments are prerequisite\, i.e.\, you must complete them all before you show up for the in-person course.
