The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Risk-Management

Managing Risk

Risk management is a method for identifying risks, and developing and implementing a plan to protect an organization with the goal of preventing/minimizing loss.  One of the single-most important operations for Iowa Soccer and your organization alike is managing risk.  Through policies, recommendations, education and checklists, Iowa Soccer is committed to helping all participants have a safe soccer experience.

Iowa Soccer's Policy

The purpose of the Iowa Soccer Association Safe Soccer Plan is to communicate methods of minimizing/preventing risk to players, volunteers, paid personnel, spectators, clubs and leagues. This Plan does not provide professional legal or tax advice and may not be relied upon for that purpose.  While this program may require time and effort, there is no higher priority than the protection of the soccer players and volunteers within our organization.

Risk-Management Coordinator

Each club is required to identify a Risk Management Coordinator (RMC) that Iowa Soccer will use as a point of contact to communicate updates, educational resources, issues, etc.
