What This Means for Iowa Soccer
The integration will take place over a two-year period, with Iowa Soccer Association and other State Associations playing an active role in helping shape the process. The goal is to create a more connected soccer system while strengthening the resources and support available at the local level.
The integration is intended to:
- Bring greater resources and investment to local soccer.
- Provide stronger support for clubs, leagues, coaches and referees.
- Create more opportunities for players and families to participate and stay connected to the game.
- Make the soccer landscape easier to understand and navigate.
- Strengthen connections between local communities, State Associations and U.S. Soccer.
Iowa Soccer Association’s Role
Throughout the process, Iowa Soccer Association will continue representing the needs of its members and communities across the state. Our focus remains on supporting clubs and leagues, growing participation and creating positive soccer experiences throughout Iowa while helping shape a stronger and more connected future for the game.
