Every spring season, Iowa Soccer member clubs may elect to conduct player tryouts, typically held in June. By Iowa Soccer Member Rules, tryouts may only be conducted in the 11U-19U age groups. If a club elects to form a team based upon a tryout, that team and its players are required to be classified as “select” in the player and team registration platform.
Tryouts must be conducted per Iowa Soccer rules and policies and recruiting players to a club is prohibited.
