The Iowa Soccer Symposium is offered to members and non-members in the Iowa Soccer community as a day of learning in pursuit of pushing the game forward in our state.
Professionals from across the state, region, and country converge on the event to provide educational offerings on a number of topics surrounding the beautiful game.

The Iowa Soccer Symposium is open to all members and non-members, including the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association.

SYMPOSIUM SCHEDULE
Friday, February 21: Player Development Day
- A spotlight on talent identification, featuring ODP programming supported by FC Cincinnati (Major League Soccer) and US Youth Soccer representatives.
Saturday, February 22: Coach Development Day
- Designed for club, high school and college coaches, as well as referees, club leaders and administrators.
Sunday, February 23: Referee Development Day
- Dedicated to enhancing referee skills and fostering professional growth in officiating. Iowa Soccer will be hosting two referee courses during the day.
Grassroots Referee Course for First-Time Referees
- This course will be held from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and it will be conducted for first-time grassroots referees.
- In-person registration for this session will begin at 8:30 AM.

Referee Course for Referees with a Minimum of 1-3 Years of Experience
- During this course, our referee mentors and referee coaches will be teaching and creating on-field training sessions to help further development and a deeper approach to the support of all our referees.
- This course will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- In-person registration will begin at 10:15 AM.
